Coming Soon To Your Feed

With the end of Christmas and focus change to the upcoming new year, I am pleased to be able to announce some of the many new projects I've been working on over the last few months. These have been a long time coming, so let's just get to it. :) 1. Identity change. TMD has grown to the point where its name no longer suits it. Since my views and goals have changed, it's time to say good-bye to the beloved title Truly. Madly. Deeply. I'm going to miss this name, but it's time to move on. I want this blog to expand and form into the vision of what I truly want it to be. With this identity change will come a new URL (which has already been established), design (almost done!) and content upgrade - which leads us to the next point. 2. New content. My content is getting a makeover. New posts are going to be more in depth, and my old posts are going to be spruced up as well. I have a new posting schedule worked out, and lots more work to do, so please stay...

Dear Paper Book,

via I enjoy adding to your blank pages, and scribbling the words my brain conjured up, just to get rid of the white space. You know I can't stand it when you're bare and blank. It's hard for me to look at you when you're this way. So I fill you up. I change you. To make myself feel better. When I add to you--when I change you--do you know how wonderful that makes me feel? To have my thoughts flow out of my brain, through my pen, and onto your wonderful white skin. It's a beautiful, extravagant progress. And sometimes I can't help but think you enjoy it too.
I love reading. The transportation to another world and time is such a blessing. Don't you agree?

Tell you how different people react to different things. Teach you new words. Or help you escape the world, even if it's just for a moment? Books are a big part of my life. They are my [ magical ] transportation system. thanks for reading this short post. <3 xoxo, Rose pinterest instagram bloglovin

Books.

They have overcome my life. { picture source } I am always reading. Always swallowing, digesting, tasting, each and every word that comes into view. I depend on reading--and books--to take me away to a far away place where everything is almost perfect. Almost. {emphasis on that word} Books have helped me survive. They've given me tips and helped me learn lessons. They've even played as vivid, colorful, moving pictures in my mind. They have shown me that no matter what happens, how bad things can get for the main character, there will *cough* almost *cough* always be a happy ending. Which makes me think, maybe there's still hope for me. Maybe I'll earn a happy ending too... I need books. I need words. I need to feel the pages between my fingertips. I need to hold a book up to my nose and breathe it all in. I need to find that small bit of happiness. And books always seem to give me that. Thank you books. Thank you words. ...
