Coming Soon To Your Feed

With the end of Christmas and focus change to the upcoming new year, I am pleased to be able to announce some of the many new projects I've been working on over the last few months. These have been a long time coming, so let's just get to it. :)

1. Identity change.

TMD has grown to the point where its name no longer suits it. Since my views and goals have changed, it's time to say good-bye to the beloved title Truly. Madly. Deeply. I'm going to miss this name, but it's time to move on. I want this blog to expand and form into the vision of what I truly want it to be.

With this identity change will come a new URL (which has already been established), design (almost done!) and content upgrade - which leads us to the next point.

2. New content.

My content is getting a makeover. New posts are going to be more in depth, and my old posts are going to be spruced up as well. I have a new posting schedule worked out, and lots more work to do, so please stay patient as I continue to work our the kinks of my new system. :)

3. Focus change.

I used to be the kind of blogger that was obsessed with receiving pageviews and followers (a post about this to come). Due to this obsession, I started losing focus, and blogging started to feel more like work and less like something I loved doing. After careful evaluation - and many repeated signs/reminders - I came to the fact that I was indeed a people pleaser. But learning this about myself has allowed me more insight, both to my human soul and to my blog, which has helped me reevaluate and shift my focus.

The new focus of my blog will be somewhere along the lines of expression, creativity and the journey one takes when getting to know their self (sorta kinda not really what I've been doing now, I guess).

4. Reader reward.

This blog is so close to reaching 150 readers, so as a reward I've decided to have a giveaway (whoops and cheers)! Check back in later for more details. ;)

Well, that's all for now! I hope you guys are excited for 2015 as I am. :)

What are you planning for the new year?

May I ask for your [honest] opinion?

via Alrighty. I recently just completed my one hundredth blog design order [insert celebratory balloons, glitter cannons, and thrown pies here]. ;} And I was talking to my mother about this in the car, to and from the store. Basically, what she said was; "You've been doing your designs for a long time, right? So why don't you start charging for your services?" This got me thinking, and in my eyes, I feel as though charging for my designs would probably make me feel like I'm getting cocky, and too proud of my work, yah know? But I wanted to ask you guys, my honest readers; do YOU think my services are worth spending money on? Like seriously. If you wanted a new design would you choose me, even if it cost you ten dollars? I know most of it is just a matter of opinion. Every designer has their own way of doing things. Their own unique style. It all depends on what the "order-er" wants. I'd like to know if I have the capabilities of giving s...

So this is where I'm at.

Hi friend. How are you? I hope this post meets you well. Today I wanted to write about this little space. My corner of the Internet. After many attempts to give it a major face lift / rebrand / vibe / mission I figured out that the girl I was in 2012 when I originally started this blog is no longer who I am. So let's start fresh. Hi, I'm Rosie. I am a college student and a creator of many crafts. I enjoy writing Young Adult fiction, playing piano, singing at the top of my lungs, and, above all, making other people laugh. Right now I am pursuing a degree in art therapy, which means my future job will be  helping people express themselves in a safe environment with someone who loves them.  I have tried to be many things on the Internet, from an American Girl doll hoarder to a make-up artist, but nothing has really clicked with me. Not until now. I have always been a Christian. My entire life I have identified as being a follower of Jesus Christ. But the thing ab...

Room Tour 2019

I've always wanted to do one of these posts. If not for the enjoyment of others, for the enjoyment of my future self to look back on and realize how much my style and space have changed. My door. I think I'm sooo artsy for taping paint swatches to my door. And I actually love how it looks too. I was going for "Starry Night" with my own little twist -- and without the actual paint. ;) This is what my room looks like from the doorway. Can you guess what the theme is? It's funny -- a few weeks ago I was discussing with Kenzie how my room has this coral and aquamarine vibe to it, yet my Instagram theme is focused on yellows and blues, and my actual fashion style is very grungy/hispter/artsy. So it all comes full circle, I guess? Still, I love my room. It's my safe haven. Now come on in so I can give you the full tour... Right as you walk in, you will see my DIY jewelry hanging on the wall to your right. It's quite a balancing act when I ...
