How To Customize Your Scrollbar

This tutorial was requested hinted by Sophia. ;)

1. Go to your blogger dashboard and select the blog you'd like to customize.
2. Go to Template >>> Customize >>> Add CSS and paste this code in the box:

::-webkit-scrollbar {
background: #ffffff;
width: 10px;
}
::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb {
background: #000000;
}
3. To customize this code, you can make the following changes:

+ Change the color code in red to customize the color that the scroll bar "slides" on.
+ Change the width code in blue to customize the width of the scroll bar as a whole (the larger the number the thicker the scroll bar).
+ Change the color code in green to customize the color of the scroll bar itself.

4. Save and view your changes.

    Rosie, your new design is absolutely stunning! I never fail to be impressed by your work. By the way, how did you create the feature at the very bottom, with the boxes around the posts? ;)

May I ask for your [honest] opinion?

via Alrighty. I recently just completed my one hundredth blog design order [insert celebratory balloons, glitter cannons, and thrown pies here]. ;} And I was talking to my mother about this in the car, to and from the store. Basically, what she said was; "You've been doing your designs for a long time, right? So why don't you start charging for your services?" This got me thinking, and in my eyes, I feel as though charging for my designs would probably make me feel like I'm getting cocky, and too proud of my work, yah know? But I wanted to ask you guys, my honest readers; do YOU think my services are worth spending money on? Like seriously. If you wanted a new design would you choose me, even if it cost you ten dollars? I know most of it is just a matter of opinion. Every designer has their own way of doing things. Their own unique style. It all depends on what the "order-er" wants. I'd like to know if I have the capabilities of giving s...

So this is where I'm at.

Hi friend. How are you? I hope this post meets you well. Today I wanted to write about this little space. My corner of the Internet. After many attempts to give it a major face lift / rebrand / vibe / mission I figured out that the girl I was in 2012 when I originally started this blog is no longer who I am. So let's start fresh. Hi, I'm Rosie. I am a college student and a creator of many crafts. I enjoy writing Young Adult fiction, playing piano, singing at the top of my lungs, and, above all, making other people laugh. Right now I am pursuing a degree in art therapy, which means my future job will be  helping people express themselves in a safe environment with someone who loves them.  I have tried to be many things on the Internet, from an American Girl doll hoarder to a make-up artist, but nothing has really clicked with me. Not until now. I have always been a Christian. My entire life I have identified as being a follower of Jesus Christ. But the thing ab...

Room Tour 2019

I've always wanted to do one of these posts. If not for the enjoyment of others, for the enjoyment of my future self to look back on and realize how much my style and space have changed. My door. I think I'm sooo artsy for taping paint swatches to my door. And I actually love how it looks too. I was going for "Starry Night" with my own little twist -- and without the actual paint. ;) This is what my room looks like from the doorway. Can you guess what the theme is? It's funny -- a few weeks ago I was discussing with Kenzie how my room has this coral and aquamarine vibe to it, yet my Instagram theme is focused on yellows and blues, and my actual fashion style is very grungy/hispter/artsy. So it all comes full circle, I guess? Still, I love my room. It's my safe haven. Now come on in so I can give you the full tour... Right as you walk in, you will see my DIY jewelry hanging on the wall to your right. It's quite a balancing act when I ...
