PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF, AND TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR BLOG.

Bonjour mes amis! We'll start with the basics. My name is Aliah, and I'm a teenage homeschooler. Like a lot of bloggers that I know, I'm a complete bookworm who loves to bury her nose in a book where she can travel off to another land. For me, writing is like reading. It gives me the opportunity to leave this world and go into a fantasy one. The only difference is that I control what happens there, because I've written the story.

My blog is a place where I can share events from my daily life, my passions, my writings, and get to know people that I have things in common with.

WHEN DID YOU START YOUR BLOGGING JOURNEY AND WHY?

I started my first blog back in 2013. I'm not exactly sure when or how I found out about blogs, but after awhile, I became interested in starting my own. Thus began my long journey through the blogging world and finding out what I truly enjoy writing about. My first blog was called Soaring With Books, and I posted book reviews on there. Outside of my family, no one ever viewed the blog, so I decided to start a new one. I posted a lot of different types of things on Kidz In The Cupboard. This blog, too, didn't get many views. And so I started my third, final, and current blog. The original name of Cranberries and Crescents was Dream. Dress. Play. and it was an American Girl doll blog. I soon found that I didn't really enjoy blogging about American Girl dolls, and I geared my blog more towards writing, DIY's and photography. I think Cranberries and Crescents was sort of my last chance in having a blog I was proud of.

WHAT'S THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF BLOGGING FOR YOU?

I would probably say posting and coming up with ideas, which is, essentially, the core of blogging. My friends and family who aren't really familiar with blogging simply assume it's easy to come up with new ideas every week and turn them in to photos and posts. But let's face it; it's difficult keeping up with everything, and sometimes, you get blogger's block.

DO YOU HAVE ANY BLOGGING RITUALS (LIKE FOLLOWING A STRICT SCHEDULE OR MAKING SURE TO PROCRASTINATE BY GOING ON PINTEREST FIRST, ETC.)?

Until recently, I would only post when I felt like it and when I had and idea (trust me, those two things didn't happen together very often). Now I've become a bit stricter with myself; jotting down some ideas for posts, sitting down a doing several blog posts at once, and having several pre-written posts so I'm always prepared.

WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER ONE BLOGGING TIP?

Blog about what you love. Don't post about things that you don't enjoy. Remember you're blogging because you want to.

BESIDES BLOGGING, WHAT OTHER HOBBIES TO YOU ENJOY PARTICIPATING IN? WHICH ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

Like I mentioned before, I love both reading and writing, but thanks to my blog, my interests have expanded to photography, poetry, and DIY's.

(DUE TO THE TITLE OF MY BLOG, I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD ASK:) DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW YOURSELF?

I honestly think I know myself pretty well. Sometimes I surprise myself when saying or doing something that's a bit out of my comfort zone, but other than that, I do feel connected with myself.

May I ask for your [honest] opinion?

via Alrighty. I recently just completed my one hundredth blog design order [insert celebratory balloons, glitter cannons, and thrown pies here]. ;} And I was talking to my mother about this in the car, to and from the store. Basically, what she said was; "You've been doing your designs for a long time, right? So why don't you start charging for your services?" This got me thinking, and in my eyes, I feel as though charging for my designs would probably make me feel like I'm getting cocky, and too proud of my work, yah know? But I wanted to ask you guys, my honest readers; do YOU think my services are worth spending money on? Like seriously. If you wanted a new design would you choose me, even if it cost you ten dollars? I know most of it is just a matter of opinion. Every designer has their own way of doing things. Their own unique style. It all depends on what the "order-er" wants. I'd like to know if I have the capabilities of giving s...

Wake Up, Darling.

Wake up darling, it's time to rise. Sit up, stretch your limbs, and put a smile on that tired face. Tomorrow is gone, and it's a new day. Wake up darling, open the blinds. Open the window if you have to, and stick your head out. Smell the air. Breathe. Let the morning sun hit your cheeks. Ahh. A fresh start. Are you awake, darling? Get dressed now. Put on your worn sweater, and jeans, or favorite graphic tee. Decided whether or not it's worth it to find the matching pair to your sock, and if you'd like attempt to untangle that mass of hair on your head. Whatever you'd like. Now darling. Are you ready? Because it's adventure time . + + + Thank you for reading. <3

Justin -- Fictional Character

Justin. Sarcastic. Opinionated. Hot. <-- Yep, I said it. •-• * * * Hello my lovely readers. Today I'd like to introduce you to my fave boy character whom I invented. His name is Justin. He's the main character in my first completed book, The Memory Keeper (read a sneak peek here ). I wanted to share Justin with you because, well, I did this a while back with Zarek , and I received so nice comments about him. :) So I thought what the hey, I may as well share another character with them . :} So, yes. This is Justin.  He's rough and sarcastic on the outside.  But his insides are like melted chocolate-- sweet, gooey, and totally amazing. O.o Here's a little Justin snippet. I hope you guys enjoy it. >.< * * * M uffled voices ring around my ears, gradually waking me up from my sleep. Someone laughs when I groan and I roll over, shying away from all the noise. When I get the courage, I open my eyes, surprised by how dark it is. The walls...
