Delve Into Me: A Close Look at the Bloggers You Love (010)

PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF, AND TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR BLOG.

Hi everyone! My name is Kaci Jade Stevens, my blog is called Kaci Jade purely because of the fact it is my middle name and everyone seems to love it! My blog is based around beauty, fashion and lifestyle but I like to throw in the odd skincare or review post too.

WHEN DID YOU START YOUR BLOGGING JOURNEY AND WHY?

I actually started my blogging journey on the 28th of September 2014 last year when I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, you could probably picture how well that one turned out, and I only recently decided to refresh my blog and give it a new name, look and feel. I took up blogging as I am a talker, that's a given, and especially when it comes to beauty related topics I just will not stop talking, blogging is a place where I can go on and on and anyone can read the content I write, if they want to, and hopefully enjoy it. To me, that's what makes my whole blogging experience worth while.

WHAT'S THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF BLOGGING FOR YOU?

Posting regularly. That is definitely a challenge for me without a doubt. It's not the fact that I don't want to and I feel like I have to, I don't, I love blogging and I would choose it over any social media I have. It's that it requires time to get it right and that is valid time in a day I don't have right now with school, trampoline and what not. I am a perfectionist so I have to check my posts again and again and make sure the photos aren't fuzzy so on and so forth, I couldn't just upload a blog post in half an hour.

DO YOU HAVE ANY BLOGGING RITUALS (LIKE FOLLOWING A STRICT SCHEDULE OR MAKING SURE TO PROCRASTINATE BY GOING ON PINTEREST FIRST, ETC.)?

I don't actually think I do! I come up with posts by myself or reading someone else's blog and things on the internet, I wouldn't say I have a schedule other than posting regularly, at least. Pinterest and tumblr is also such a great place to get my inspiration.

WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER ONE BLOGGING TIP?

Make sure you are having fun. I'm sure most people that choose to start a blog and take that leap out there into the Internet are willing to commit and have fun with their blog, but it is so so so important that you enjoy what you are writing and talking about. If you aren't, then what are you doing it for?

BESIDES BLOGGING, WHAT OTHER HOBBIES TO YOU ENJOY PARTICIPATING IN? WHICH ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

I love trampoline as I have already mentioned. I have done the sport since I was 4 (almost ten years!) and I am still loving every minute of it. I also love:

• Photography
• Art
• Socialising
• The Internet in general
• Makeup
• Fashion / Shopping
• Obviously blogging
• Reading & Discovering blogs
• YouTube

(DUE TO THE TITLE OF MY BLOG, I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD ASK:) DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW YOURSELF?

Personally, this could either sound strange or not, but I don't feel like I know myself, yet. I feel I haven't found the true inner me and really realised as a person who I am and what I love. I have found out a lot about myself, obviously, but as the time goes on I am finding out more every second just by someone asking a simple question. I just don't know if what I think about myself is entirely true, some of you might understand, which is why I can't say I know my self, fully.

May I ask for your [honest] opinion?

via Alrighty. I recently just completed my one hundredth blog design order [insert celebratory balloons, glitter cannons, and thrown pies here]. ;} And I was talking to my mother about this in the car, to and from the store. Basically, what she said was; "You've been doing your designs for a long time, right? So why don't you start charging for your services?" This got me thinking, and in my eyes, I feel as though charging for my designs would probably make me feel like I'm getting cocky, and too proud of my work, yah know? But I wanted to ask you guys, my honest readers; do YOU think my services are worth spending money on? Like seriously. If you wanted a new design would you choose me, even if it cost you ten dollars? I know most of it is just a matter of opinion. Every designer has their own way of doing things. Their own unique style. It all depends on what the "order-er" wants. I'd like to know if I have the capabilities of giving s...

Clothes Don't Apply--In The Summer

via  | enjoy this random photo of the ocean. No, it's not that kind of post. But I sure bet the post title caught your eye. ;) Ahh. Summer. It is here my friends (or it was...now everything is just cold and wet -.-). And as it rolls in--knocking Spring to the side--so does the heat. And thus my wardrobe drastically changes from sweatshirts and leggings to large (borrowed) shirts and shorts. It's also time to pull out the razor and shave away my still attached winter coat. -.- ^ something cute I wish I could wear. ^ *cough* Anyways. Summer. Lots of heat but also, lots of free time. My mother has decided my summer project is to learn how to drive. (Oh...yay... *sobbing consists in background*) And I hope to hang out with Kenz. But we'll see how June 6th goes. Also, I'm planning on getting lots of writing done, AND looking into (advanced) CSS and HTML for Blogger. AAAAAND I will hopefully take a writing class over the course of a few weeks. Maybe . I don...
"Look," she breathed, studying the sky. " Oh , look... Do you see it?" He looked down at her, his eyes twinkling like the many stars above. "Yes..." "Isn't it beautiful?" "Yes...yes it is..." She looked back at him, meeting his gaze. They were both thinking the same thing, and they were both scared of it. She ducked her head as his eyes moved away, focusing on the ground and the stars and the distance between them. + + + Oh, the fragile doubts of these teenage souls. Why is it that they fear each other? Why is it that they must disregard their feelings? Their emotions? All I can say is; be brave. Take a leap of faith. Because there is a chance it will work out.
